I will tell you one anecdote. It happened just in this
century. One of the greatest poets of India,
Rabindranath Tagore, translated his own book,
Gitanjali, from Bengali to English. He translated it
himself, and then he was a little hesitant whether the
translation was okay or not. So he asked

translation come out?” C.F. Andrews was not a poet,
