murderer, who cut off the finger of every man he killed,
and made a garland of those fingers, which he wore
around his neck.

was converted as a disciple of Gautam Buddha

was huge, an almost demon-like man. But Buddha said,
“Now we have to see whether Angulimal kills Buddha, or
Buddha kills Angulimal. And I will walk only on my chosen
path. Once I select a path I don’t change it. And it is all the
more fortunate because I will have an opportunity to meet
Angulimal. It is an unexpected opportunity...”
