Baizhang mountains. This temple is
located in south-central China, far
away from the cities, and very remote
high in the mountains. To rebuild it
according to the plans of the
government is an enomous
undertaking--there is only one small
mountain road that leads to it. This is
the place where Zen master Baizhang
taught a disciple who would also later
become a well-known master--Huangbo
(Obaku, J.)
