Eve
c. 3,000-5,000 BCE
According to the religious scriptures of the Judaic
based faiths (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), the first
woman on Earth, husband of Adam.

first mentioned in the Book of Genesis of the
Torah of
the Jews (Old Testament of the Holy Bible).

The word Eve is derived from the Hebrew
avva,
meaning the "living one".

was supposedly created out of a single rib of Adam, by
God, in the Garden of Eden

Satan (the Devil) convinced her to tempt Adam to eat
the fruit of the "tree of Knowledge", which they both did,
and both were thereby banned by God from the
Garden of Eden. This is considered the "Original Sin" in
Christianity, for which all subsequent mankind is
supposedly condemned to suffer for.

Adam and Eve were prohibited to eat the fruit of the tree
of knowledge but they had to eat it. It is part of maturing.
They were innocent. The moment they ate the fruit they
became alert and aware. Suddenly they started hiding
their bodies. Now Eve was aware of Adam and Adam was
aware of Eve. Clothes came into existence through the
ego. They became aware of themselves as separate.
Before that they were just part of each other; they never
knew that they were separate. They became separated.
And this happens to every Adam and Eve. It did not only
happen once: whenever a child is born, he comes out of
the garden of Eden...
