Longmen Grottos is located in
    the central China province of
    Henan, just south of the Yellow
    River, called the Huang He in
    China.
    Carved into the mountains on
    each bank of a river are
    thousands of Buddha statues--a
    continuing work of many
    centuries by artisans and artists.
    Being a famous tourist site in the
    present day, it is visited by
    thousands of people every day.
