Mool Madhyamika
Karika

by Nagarjuna
Mool Madhyamika Karika means the essence of
the middle--the essential middle path. In his
Karikas he has reached the profoundest depths of
which words are capable.

Nagarjuna is a south Indian Buddhist mystic--his
known history is largely legendary. Many feel he is
the most important Buddhist person(in India) after
Gautam Buddha, and the Chinese Zen tradition
lists him as the 14th master in the "India 28"
pre-Chinese Chan masters.
