The Myth of Sisyphus
by Albert Camus (or Marcel?)
The myth of Sisyphus is an ancient myth. The myth is beautiful... --Osho Books I Have Loved

Camus, 1913-1960
I think Osho is referring here to a small book by Albert
Camus, titled The Myth of Sisyphus, originally written in
French as Le Mythe de Sisyphe, and eventually
translated.
Osho's referred to author "Marcel" is probably Gabriel
Marcel, another French existentialist, 25 years older
than Camus, who is said to have coined the word
"existentialism" for the European 20th century
philosopher group of intellectuals.
The ancient Greek myth is of a man Sisyphus, who was
punished for some misdeed to roll a big boulder up a
mountain slope, only to have it roll down again from the
top. Sisyphus has to go down again and roll it up once
more, and it rolls down again. This is repeated eternally.
