Nanhua Zen Temple is quite well-
    known, large, and a major tourist
    destination point in China.  It is
    located near Shaoguan City in
    Guangdong Province.  This a
    about 200 miles north of
    Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

    Dajian Huineng, the 6th
    Ancestor of Chinese Chan,
    resided at this location most of
    his teaching life.  

    Here is shown an old stele in the
