Will to Power

by Friedrich Nietzsche
Nietzsche's book was not published until many years after
his death. His sister prevented it. She was a great
businesswoman.

Will to Power is a collection of Nietzsche's notebook writings
between the years 1883-88. His sister put them together and
had it published in 1901. It was probably this book and it's
title that connected Nietzsche to the Nazis in the 1930's, to
his detriment.  Most people know the soundbite "will to
power", know the name "Nietzsche", and know the name
"Nazi". That's about it--ask anyone today what ideas are in
this book, and you will get not much more than a blank look.
