This is the soft shadow boxing forms seen practiced in the parks in China, and is well- known now in the west too, usually spelled "Tai Chi". Pronounced in Chinese "Tai Jee Chooahn". Tai Ji means "supreme", and quan means "fist" , or "boxing form". Shown is the traditional Chinese characters, with also the simplified form for ji, the 2nd character. |
