Wu men guan

    This means "The Gateless Gate"
and is a famous collection of Zen
    gong'an (koans, J.), produced in
the later part of the Song dynasty in
China.  Being short in length, these
stories were some of the first Zen
    literature translated into the western
    world in the 20th century.

The Zen master that collected them
    was named Wumen.
